In a remarkable display of academic excellence, two esteemed Higher Education Institutions(HEIs) in the Cordillera Administrative Region have once again emerged as the frontrunners in the August 2023 Criminologists Licensure Examination. King’s College of the Philippines (KCP) secured the top spot, boasting an outstanding average rating of 88.89%, while the University of the Cordilleras (UC) secured a close second position with an impressive average rating of 83.72%.
This achievement is not a mere flash in the pan; for the past six consecutive years, both UC and KCP have consistently held their positions as top-performing schools in the realm of criminology. Their unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with the dedication and hard work of their students, has once again paid off in this year’s licensure examination.

In December 2021, KCP ranked 1st among the top-performing schools with a 99.02% passing rate1. UC ranked 2nd with a 93.41% passing rate1.
In June 2021, UC ranked 1st among the top-performing schools with a 98.25% passing rate. KCP ranked 2nd with a 97.96% passing rate.
In December 2020, UC ranked 1st among the top-performing schools with a 98.39% passing rate. KCP ranked 2nd with a 97.96% passing rate.
