According to the Ranking Report 2024 published by AppliedHE Private University Ranking: ASEAN on 1 December 2023, Saint Louis University is ranked 42nd among higher education institutions in ASEAN. Additionally, it secured the eighth position among the Philippine universities that participated in the ranking.

Reflecting upon the strides made the previous year, it is noteworthy that SLU also ranked the 21st position in ASEAN and 3rd in the Philippines.

AppliedHE is a platform that provides rankings, insights and analytics for higher education institutions in ASEAN and Asia-Pacific. It conducts surveys among alumni and students of participating universities to measure their satisfaction, employability and impact. AppliedHE also offers various ratings and evaluations for universities, such as JOB-Ready, ENGLISH-Ready, ONLINE-Ready and COLLAB-Ready. The AppliedHE Private University Ranking system evaluates six categories that are important to students. In the Philippines, SLU achieved the following rankings: 2nd in Research, 3rd in Employability, 5th in both Community Engagement and Institutional Reputation.
