The second day of the 2023 KABADANG “P.R.O.M.I.S.E” conference, hosted at Saint Louis University’s Gevers Hall, provided attendees with invaluable insights into the world of research publication.
The day began with a comprehensive session led by Dr. Erlinda Palaganas, a KABADANG Mentor, who shed light on the “Research Publication Guidelines.” Dr. Palaganas meticulously elucidated the rigorous process and techniques essential for successful research publication.
Dr. Palaganas continued to captivate the audience by delving into the intriguing realm of Artificial Intelligence in research publication. Her session explored the pivotal role AI plays in modern research dissemination.
In another enlightening presentation, Dr. Jun Camara, another esteemed KABADANG Mentor, focused on “Practical Angle Writing in Academic Publications.” Attendees gained practical knowledge on enhancing their academic writing skills, enriching their research publications.
The event’s significance was emphasized by the welcome remarks of Rev. Fr. Gilbert B. Sales, University President, which were eloquently delivered by Dr. Feline P. Espique, Vice President for Academic Affairs. Dr. Espique expressed the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and research.
To cap off the day, Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., CHED-CAR Director, delivered a message emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in advancing the field of scientific research and the critical role of research publication in knowledge dissemination
Dr. Jimmy G. Catanes, the Project Lead of KABADANG also provided the mainstream of the project and emphasized its the directional targets.
The event flow was facilitated by Dr. Willow Pangket, the newly assigned Junior Mentor. She also shared the overview and history of the project.
